Embossing Process Details
When leather is embossed, some natural characteristics of the embossing process may be visible in the final hide. You may notice subtle plate lines or areas where the embossed pattern does not extend fully to the edge of the hide. This occurs because embossing is created by pressing a metal plate into the leather to form the design. Where the plates align during production, plate lines can appear. In most cases, these markings are minimal and far less noticeable than you might expect!
