Our shearlings are perfect for upholstery, rugs, or draping over sofas and chairs. Their natural wicking properties make them inherently resistant to water. Since the wool is dense and evenly clipped, our shearlings tailor beautifully to a wide range of applications. Variations in hair length, curl, and texture are to be expected and are part of the natural beauty of genuine shearling. Subtle color differences may occur due to the dyeing process. Please note some hides have a “frosted” effect, where the hair has been highlighted with a lighter color. Variations between frosting is to be expected due to the unique dyeing process.
