Groundworx is a fresh outlook on leather with it’s protective finish and unique color options.  This pattern is made to last for years and is a wonderful option for today’s changing style.  Groundworx is a South American product that will include the natural characteristics that are associated with leather such as: brahma holes, healed scars, brands and insect bites.  These are not considered defects but more validation that you are working with a natural product.  Selecting a South American raw material provides pricing that speaks to the currency conscious customer.  With the volatile price of leather within the last year, Groundworx is considered a value product with the protected finish and soft hand.  Expect a gorgeous drape with this leather as it is not thick or heavy and has a 1.0 mm thickness. Groundworx is offered in 12 colors that represent an urban beach vibe.  You will find every color from the traditional brown to an apple green.  Also offered a some gorgeous neutral colors such as a taupe, off white and a cream.  These colors help this article stay up to date by having these light neutral colors.  Add in the ghosted two-tone effect and you have a product that offers depth, character and style that works for traditional and contemporary settings.  We made the two-tone more noticeable in the bright and bold colors for customer who previously purchased our discontinued pattern: Showcase. This pattern features a corrected grain that represents a more natural look to appeal to enthusiasts of leather.  Widely used for furniture upholstery but also works great for handbags and other small leather goods.  The bright and beach inspired colors are destined to well in the retail markets as Spring is approaching and bright and bold are becoming more popular.  Forecasting and trending was also considered when developing the color line for this product.  It also has the ability to pair with an exotic or decorative leather due to the fun color tones.
