At Carroll Leather, we are very proud of our leathers. We strive to offer the finest hides in the world while being conscience about the overall impact on the environment. Since 1970, we have used sustainable practices when crafting our leathers.
All of our leathers are a byproduct of local farming and agriculture in South America and Europe. It is considered sustainable because the cattle are not raised for the express purpose of using their leather for goods.
We source our leathers from tanneries whose industrial processes are low impact and sustainable. Our leather is not derived from plastic or other non-animal materials that leave behind additional industrial waste.
Carroll Leather is dedicated to collecting leather scrap from manufacturers to re-purpose the leather into items such as bags or bookbinding. This process allows any manufacturer to participate.
